Many don't like playing it because unfortunately the Faction colour is grey/white, which is uninspiring. My Sicillian faction has Knights of St John's and they really make an excellent supplement to the army. The next phase is most likely to secure Italy if you have a war there, or to press on and eliminate Portugal before ending alliance with It can be a bit overwhelming at first to manage something as huge as the British empire. Prussia is good because you basically just start off conquering. All of the battles will be on land, so there is no real need to worry about building a navy until later. Prussia is a very good (and fun) faction to start off with. But enough blabbing, let's finish this guide. Overall, we've got a great Total War campaign. It is a refreshing change from the usual heavy-metal, iron and horse gameplay that Medieval 2 normally offers. It introduces you to new factions, new units, and a unique campaign map. Denmark, Turks or Venice due in my opinion to the fact they have some excellent units a little different from the norm. Denmark has a lot of axemen and mounted clerics who are great in melee, Venice have venetian heavy infantry and venetian archers and can field muskets later in the game, and the turks i think are by far the best muslim faction Infantry speeds (Incomplete) Missile Weapons Stats; Artillery Stats; This is with Patch 1.2 for vanilla M2TW. There is also a very large host of additional factors which you may or may not have considered, including the effect radius and morale bonus/penalty of special units and weaponry (like the Carroccio Standard and cow carcasses), lethality, mass, animation effectiveness, etc. This mod is fantastic. An exellent expansion on the original 3rd age mod that provides endless replay value and that in-depth LOTR strategy that nobody else comes close to. I was a fan of the official "battle for middle earth" games by EA, I enjoyed them alot. This mod is everything that those games should have been and more. oHAcv. This army consists of: Prince Edward and his loyal bodyguard, 1 battalion of spear militia, 1 battalion of highlanders, 1 battalion of Highland archers and 1 squadron of Border horse. The second of our armies lies to the north west of Edinburgh. This army is ideally situated to commence the siege of Inverness. 3 Germania. "The Romans disturbed the gods, they burned the forests." Germania is a barbarian faction in Rome: Total War, and probably the best of the bunch. They begin with five cities: Damme, Mogontiacum, Trier, Batavordum, and Vicus Marcomanni. hardest, easiest, most enjoyable faction. 1) Blast holes in (in line if possible) thru enemy walls. 2) Blast towers in range of said holes. 3) Swarm in with as many heavy infantry as can afford. Medieval II is the best Total War game ever made. Yes, I’m going to say this every single time I write about this game. There still isn’t a game that comes as close to being as influential for the franchise as Medieval II, which is probably the reason why CA hasn’t gotten around to release the third installment of the series. The France would be a good faction for what youre looking for. Last edited by riuk881; April 17, 2015 at 02:36 PM . Reason: spelling. It's not a question of where it grips it. It's a simple questions of weight ratios; a five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut. April 17, 2015, 03:58 PM #3. teks.
